
This Weekend! Tomorrow is your first of 3 chances to come see Tipton High School performing Clue! Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:00.


The 6th and 7th/8th band had a terrific day in West Liberty for the SEIBA middle school concert band festival! The bands each performed three songs and received a clinic from a master educator. Special thanks to our chaperones Behne, Borseth, Burnett, Ehlers, and McCartney!

Our Administrative professionals are worth celebrating every day, but especially today! They work to ensure everyone in our buildings can run smoothly every day all with a welcoming smile on their face! Thank you!


Just a peek at the Earth Day activities going on in Tipton today. High School students are planting trees despite the rain this morning, and elementary students got to hear from Lindsey with the Iowa Waste Exchange about how they can help reduce waste!






It's Senior Night down at the track. The boys and girls teams start competition at 4:30 with the field events. We will be celebrating the accomplishments of 13 seniors and their dedication to these programs. We should stay dry but you might want to pack a poncho just in case.

Tank has been busy exploring more careers! He got to visit the ICU at the hospital a few weeks ago and then also visited the Tipton Development Director.







Huge congratulations go out to Ella Hein and Noelle Steines for qualifying for the Drake Relays! What an amazing accomplishment, you've got lots of fans cheering for you from Tipton!



Team Webb! Tipton girls soccer along with others are hosting Kick Out Cancer on May 5th at the home soccer game. Recently, High School Nurse and Girls Soccer Coach Stephanie Webb was diagnosed with breast cancer, and we are rallying behind her to show our support while she kicks cancer's butt. There will be a silent auction and other activities during the home soccer game 5/5. T-shirt orders are due 4/24 so don't miss out!

April Is volunteer appreciation month and here at Tipton we are blessed with the best of the best! There are too many to name, thank you to anyone who has donated their time and energy to bettering our school and community!


Home track meet tonight! The boys and girls teams will compete tonight at the city park! Come on out and show your support for these Tigers, field events start at 4:30 with running events after!

This 5th grade writing class celebrated the end of their Personal Narrative Unit with a glow party. They were able to read each other's stories and give positive feedback (Glows) and suggestions to strengthen their writing skills (Grows). It was a blast under the black lights, wearing our glow attire and being a productive community of writers!






We are one week away from the K-8 Art Show! Students have worked all year to create work they are proud of, here is a sneak peak! Come see it April 24th from 6-8pm at Tipton Middle School!

Tipton High School students got to hear from a variety of guest speakers this morning on different mental health related topics including youth relationships, social media, human trafficking, de-escalating strategies and more. Thank you to our students for participating, Kim Barber for organizing the event, and the speakers for sharing their expertise on such important information!







For 4th quarter our MS Expectations Committee is recognizing Students of the Week. Staff selects 5 kids/grade who are showing qualities of being a good student. Week 1 was Responsibility. Congrats!





Middle School Academic Team put on a few assemblies to help boost moods during ISASP testing week, along with encouraging notes, bright hallway decorations and wonderful attitudes! Their efforts helped students do their best work on test day!
