Our Tiger swimmers have been preparing for the regional state qualifying meet! They will swim Nov. 8th at 12pm at the Marshalltown YMCA. The girls had some fun with dress up days this week: Gender Prediction (for Coach's baby), Twins, USA, and Dress to Impress. Good luck!!!🖤💛

Tank has been busy learning about careers! Last week he learned about 2 careers. First, he got to be a race car driver at Hawkeye Downs (they won 3rd place!). Then, he got to learn about being a Certified Medical Assistant.

TMS math students are working on multiplication strategies through a math game called Pathways.

TMS 6th grade science students are using microscopes to further their learning about living things. By looking at the letter "e" in the word seed, students are finding that the image they see in their microscope is inverted and reversed.

TMS 8th grade math students are completing a card sort in a small group while others are working on digital tasks.

TMS students play a matching game to practice their Spanish vocabulary.

TMS 6th graders did a publishing party after writing their first response to Literature Essays. Students gave each other feedback on specific criteria for success and then they were able to use the feedback to revise their writing.

TMS had some great costumes today too! They ended the day with an assembly of the "masked singer." Staff members wore blow up costumes and the students guessed who was who based on the clues given (and their epic dance moves 😂). Be safe tonight when you're out trick or treating! 🎃🧙♀️👻

#2. Our elementary Spook Parade was a success - so many great costumes! Be safe tonight when you're out trick or treating! 🎃🧙♀️👻

Check out our frightfully good lunch menu for Halloween!

Good Luck to the Tipton Tiger XC teams as they travel to Fort Dodge for tomorrow's 2A State XC Meet!! Girls race is at 10:30, boys race at 11:15.

Treble Fest took place at Clear Creek Amana High School on October 29, 2025. This event is unlike other honor choirs because it focuses on the learning of music and creating music together instead of a concert. 7th -12th grade treble clef singers met with students from other schools, worked on music with guest clinician Haley Gibbons, and ended the day with making some audio recordings of the work they accomplished. We even had a couple of sets of MS/HS siblings that were able to attend together. What a fun day of music making! 🎶

The Tigers will host their last home swim meet of the season tomorrow night, Thursday, October 30th at 6:00pm. Our three senior swimmers will be recognized for Senior Night during the meet. Good luck, Tigers!🖤💛
