Elementary students have been working hard and getting recognized on our Character Strong wall! Here are some of the first students to get shout outs for creativity!

This is an extra special end to our Individual Speech season! Emily Meier will perform her Original Oratory, "Dance Isn't Just An Art", at the All State Festival at UNI on March 30th!

8th grade students took part in a powerful learning experience as they prepared for their upcoming Commemorative Projects honoring Holocaust survivors and upstanders from World War II. Using interactive technology developed by the USC Shoah Foundation, students were able to ask questions and engage in life-like conversations with recorded testimonies of survivors and upstanders. This unique experience allowed students to hear personal stories and explore history through meaningful, student-driven inquiry.

Individual State Speech is done and in the books! Brianna Archambault, Prose Harley Pedersen, Literary Program Emily Meier, Original Oratory All three had their best performance of the season!

We are thrilled to announce the hire of our next Principal at Tipton Elementary School, Dawn Kruse! Dawn brings over 19 years of experience in a variety of education roles and a deep love for Tipton Schools and the community!

"I am honored to be selected to serve as the next Elementary Principal in Tipton. The Tipton School District is very important to me as a graduate, parent, community member, and I'm excited to add the additional title of Elementary Principal to that list! My husband, Andy, and I live right outside Tipton and we have three kids who attend in the district; Oakley (Junior), Kai (8th Grade) and Aeda (5th Grade). I look forward to working with all staff, students, parents and the community to support our youngest learners. Go Tigers!"

The first of our spring sports competitions is today in Cedar Falls. The boys track team travels to the University of Northern Iowa to compete against teams from all over the state. Good Luck Tigers!

The Kids Heart Challenge is in full swing!

Earlier this week Tipton Sophomores and Juniors were able to attend the Cedar County Career Fair. This event was excellent exposure to a wide variety of paths possible following high school graduation.

We are now offering 3 year old preschool! Give your students the best start to education with our 3 and 4 year old preschool programs. We are currently enrolling students for the 2026-2027 school year. Parent information night will be April 15th at 5:30 in the Elementary Cafeteria. Some pieces of the parade of bands concert Tuesday night. Reminder tonight we have a 7-12 choir concert in the Auditorium, and tomorrow is our Jazzy Ice Cream Social in the Middle School Gym.

The 4th grade attended a special concert put on by the Quad Cities Symphony Orchestra. They traveled to the Adler Theater in Davenport and participated in the Link Up Concert put out by Carnegie Hall in NYC. The theme this year was "The Orchestra Sings" and orchestras across the country all participated with the same music. Way to go 4th grade Tigers! 🎻
