Before break our SEBH team hosted a wonderful Holiday Housewarming event! There were snacks, games, and lots of big smiles!
Mr. Copp's 8th Grade Science students completed a project-based learning activity "Pumpkin Chunkin", as a part of their unit on force and motion. For this project, the students were asked to research, design, and construct an original Pumpkin Chunkin device that could successfully chunk a candy pumpkin the greatest distance possible. The students then competed to see whose device could chunk their pumpkins the farthest. The top 3 groups were:
1st Place (28.7 meters) Levi Bodecker Blaine Merritts-Armey, & Kasen Carney
2nd Place (14.2 meters)- Hannah Oliver, Jaclynne Driscoll, & Lakyn Noard
3rd Place (13.9 meters)- Jordyn Brasmer

The 7th grade quarter 2 music exploratory class performed their original compositions and traditional Christmas carols at Prairie Hills this morning.
This week Tank the Tiger got to visit Tipton Ambulance Services. He saw paramedics, EMTs, and ambulance drivers. Thank you for all you do for our community!!

Congrats to the MS Dress Up Day Winners so far this week.
Some 7th & 8th graders had a unique opportunity to visit Cedar Manor each week to get to know the residents and have some fun together. From Twister, Card Games, 2 Truths & a Lie, and even some Snowball toss & "Reindeer Hunting" it's been action packed. So thankful to have this partnership. What a great way to bring the generations together!! Thanks Teri and Kit for involving us.
