The Bennett 5th/6th band joined Tipton's 5th grade band for an awesome joint rehearsal on a song, then the massed band worked on a blues tune, improvisation, and "Let's Go Band!" Students then did an icebreaker and finished with a cookie and drink.

To finish a long morning at the track the boys 4 x 4 team of Zander, Clay, Gavin, and Caleb finish in 14th place. Back tomorrow for the last day of 2025 State Track and Field.

The 5th/6th graders just completed and presented their culture projects they have been working on during their 2nd semester! The students had a variety of choices to choose from like creating a timeline or family tree to designing a family crest, this project helped them reflect on who they are and where they come from or even dive into what they want their future to look like. The best part? They got to share their story with their classmates and learn about their peers in the process. It was such a beautiful way for the students to connect, celebrate their differences, and discover what makes each of them special.
Counting down these last couple days of the school year with a Glow Party in 1st grade!
Ella Hein with TWO top 5 finishes within about 10 minutes of each other! The leaps to 5th place in the long jump and earns a 4th place finish in the 400 meter dash at the State Meet! Way to go Ella!

The 5th grade band did a Google Meet video chat with Kim Benson, composer of "Let's Do This!" which the band is performing at Wednesday's concert. The band played the piece for Ms. Benson, then had an extensive Q&A with her. It was a blast talking with a composer!
