Tiger Baseball is on a roll. After back to back upsets vs #3 and #2 seeds we play for the District Title Saturday night. Lots of credit to our older guys leading the way. Some huge individual performances, but mainly lots of guys stepping up to help the team any way they can.

We are hoping the rain holds off, and we can still watch our movie tonight! Doors open at 8:30pm to get popcorn and drinks, movie starts at about 8:45pm. I recommend bringing lawn chairs instead of blankets. After all the rain we've had, I imagine the ground is still pretty wet.

Tonight's Varsity baseball game that had been moved to Wilton has been postponed for tonight. The reschedule date has yet to be determined.

Congratulations to Tipton sophomore Shelby Griebat for receiving the 2024 Aaron Eliarts Community Service Award as part of the Iowa Character Awards!! Shelby will be one of the honorees at the Iowa Character Awards to be held at Prairie Meadows in Altoona on August 2.

Congratulations to Paycee Sorgenfrey who placed 7th at the Girls State Golf meet. She fired a 2 day score of 163, 82/81. She competed against 78 other girls from across the state in 2A.

The Tiger softball team started out their season with a win 11-1 in the first game of a varsity doubleheader vs. Clinton. Madison Meier was the winning pitcher.
