Congratulations to Braydon Calonder for some impressive finishes at the Mississippi Valley Conference Swim Meet yesterday! He earned all conference honors placing 5th in the 50 free as well as on the 6th place 400 free relay. He also finished 7th in the 100 free and 200 free relay. Braydon is back in action on February 8th for the Districts at Dubuque.

Students in Mr. Roos'/ Mr. Walsh's Art of Anatomy 2 class use the full range of the new windows at the high school to see their skeleton drawings through another sheet of paper.
Some 7th Graders at recess are doing Knee Nerf Football. A group of them made rules, teams & regular season games. Playoffs started yesterday as the 0-3 Chiefs got a huge upset, beating #1 seed Bills! It's Double Elimination so no one is out...yet. So fun to watch!!

Last week Tank got to visit the Tipton Public Library. He helped pick out books for story time, then listened to the stories and colored with kids. He also helped order new books!

Large Group Speech performed at the RVC Conference Contest at Mid-Prairie today. Our four events were Group Mime, Group Improv, Choral Reading, and Readers Theatre. Our Readers Theatre was awarded 3rd place, and our Choral Reading was awarded 1st place! Great performances by all!
Congrats to the THS boys wrestling team on posting a 4-1 dual meet record at the BGM Duals on Friday. The Tigers defeated D.M. North-Hoover 51-27, North Scott JV 42-35, BGM 59-18, and Gilbert 47-34 before falling to North Mahaska 44-30 in the final dual.
7th Graders earned an extra recess as a reward for having the least minors in our No Minors Contest. Way to go Class of 2030!!
High School students from the Relationships and Parenting class last semester completed a felt board story book final project and read their stories to elementary students. The younger students loved having guest readers in their class and listening to the books.
