
We are closely monitoring today's severe weather. As always, student and staff safety is our top priority.
After much discussion we are staying in school for the full day. However, student dismissal could be affected by the storm.
Please review the following information as it pertains to student dismissal:
**If at dismissal time we are not in a tornado warning, students will be released as regularly scheduled.
**If at dismissal time we are in a tornado warning, students and staff will shelter in place.
**Students will not be released to buses or parents/guardians until the warning has expired.
**All after school practices and activities have been canceled for today.
**Staff are allowed to leave at the end of their contracted time unless otherwise directed by their building administrators.

2024-25 Incoming Preschool Parents,
Due to the incoming weather we have decided to POSTPONE preschool parent information night to Thursday, April 18th at 5:30 in the elementary cafeteria. If you have any questions or concerns please call the elementary office at 563-886-6131.

Zoey Hagen and Noah Johnson participated in the prestigious Coe College Honor Band. Rehearsals were April 7 & 14 with a concert at 4:00 yesterday. They were conducted by Dr. Bill Carson of Coe College and internationally known composer Carol Brittin Chambers from Texas.







Reminder TMS next week is ISASP testing! Please make sure your student is well rested and has breakfast! Students are allowed to bring their own snack for pre-testing. Please follow the kids heathly kids act when choosing their snacks. Let’s rock these test TMS Tigers!

Holden placed first in the Mini Javelin.
Nathan placed second in the Mini Javelin.
Jayden placed second in the Mini Javelin.
Connor placed first in the standing long jump.
Connor placed first in the softball throw.
Salina placed third in the softball throw.
Holden placed third in the 100M Dash.
Nathan placed fourth in the 50M Dash.
Salina placed first in the 50M walk.
Jayden placed first in the 200M Dash.

1st grade students learned about the bass drum vs the snare drum this week. They learned big things make low sounds and small things make high sounds. It was a loud, fun class! 🎶

TMS enjoying the eclipse today! Huge Thank You to Tipton Education Boosters for helping out with the cost of the glasses! Our 5th graders Harper Bolger, Harper Lemburg and Payson Daedlow, put together and presented a wonderful slide show! TCSD's Student Family Advocates have teamed up with Whitney's Wings once again to host another FREE Bowling Party at The Red Pin on Sunday, April 21st! Registration is required and sign-up is on a first come, first serve basis. Enjoy 90 minutes of free bowling, treats, and more!


Congratulations to the newest members of NHS who were inducted on March 27th. Thank you to our current members for a wonderful ceremony and the impact you've left in Tipton. A special thanks is extended to Kim Pelzer for providing an inspiring message for all of our students as this year's guest speaker.

Nine 6th, 7th, and 8th graders represented Tipton at the Mt. Pleasant Honor Band today. The 6th grade band and 7th/8th grade band both sounded fantastic. Kenadie, Brynlee, Armando, Julianis, Aislyn, Caroline, Gabriel, Emma, and Bronin.


Mrs. King and the rest of the staff got to see students they normally don't work with this week during OHANA time!


We had some miserable weather in the middle of the week, but that didn't stop our students from creating some great memories at indoor recess!


Tipton Elementary had a busy week this week! We celebrated our many associates who go above and beyond every day for our students! Thank you for all you do!



Tipton MS got phone call from "wink-wink...Caitlin Clark" this morning pumping us up for the day and being our best going into the weekend. Let's Go Hawks!
