Students in the high school government classes got to experience a simulation the last few days, discovering the frustrations of our first form of government: The Articles of Confederation. They had a hands on experience of the confederation system by making forts out of blocks, negotiating deals with other states, and protecting the country from foreign invaders brought in by King George III (Ms. Kokjohn.) The seniors did an excellent job with bringing history to life!
The English students were given an opportunity to get Tipton Public Library cards at school today. With a library card they can use the Libby App to access audiobooks for their class Book Clubs. Yay for reading!
