
Tipton FFA faced the cold and headed down to Des Moines this morning for 38th Iowa FFA Legislative Symposium. We got to hear from Governor Reynolds, Mike Naig, and tour the Capitol.

The Tigers finished 4th as a team today at the Conference wrestling tournament behind Wilton, Monticello, and Anamosa. Top individual placers were Jayson Johnson-2nd, Tristin Sorgenfrey-3rd, and Braxton Heffernan-4th.



Congratulations to all the Tiger girls that competed at the wrestling regional today. They represented Tipton well. Special congrats to Koda Fogg and Becca Hinderaker for placing third and qualifying for the State Meet next week at Xtreme Arena.

The Tipton girls wrestlers will take to the mat on Friday at the Super Regional Qualifier hoping to punch their ticket to the Girls State tournament. The top 4 girls in each bracket will advance to State. Wrestling starts at 11:00 @ the Alliant Energy Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids.

The Tiger wrestlers dropped three competitive dual meets tonight losing to Benton Community 44-31, South Tama 57-24, and Belle Plaine 42-37. Tigers are back in action on Saturday at the RVC Conference meet in West Branch.
