Parents and Guardians of Tipton High School Students:

On behalf of Tipton High School staff I would like to express how excited we are to start the 2019-2020 school year.  As many of you already know this will be my first year as the Tipton High School principal. I bring 18 years of administrative experience to the district and could not be any more excited to be apart of the Tipton family.

Our focus at Tipton High School will be to build relationships with all of our students so we can maximize their high school experience.  We will be committed to creating an environment that students are excited to come to school and encouraged to do their best academically.

To start the 2019-2020 school year there will be some changes that we will start communicating with parents and students starting in August.  To list a few we will no longer be on a block schedule. We will be moving to a modified block schedule that will add more consistency to the learning environment.  Students will now be in class with each of their teachers four days a week. There will also be an addition of a daily Plus period that will allow students to get extra help, clarify a daily lessons, have extensions to go deeper into a topic and meet in clubs that will focus on improving the school and being active in the community.

We take representing the Tipton community very seriously and will strive everyday to be a school the community can be proud of.

The Tipton Community School District does not discriminate in its educational programs and activities on the basis of a student's disability. It has been determined that your child has a qualifying disability for which accommodations may need to be made to meet his or her individual needs as adequately as the needs of other students. It is the policy of the Tipton Community School District not to discriminate on the
basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion, creed, age (for employment), marital status (for programs), sexual orientation, gender identity and socioeconomic status (for programs) in its educational programs and its employment practices. There is a grievance procedure for processing complaints of discrimination.
