Parents and Guardians of Tipton High School Students:

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. The start of the school year has definitely been an interesting one but I’m pleased to announce that our staff and students are handling all of the COVID 19 changes with a positive attitude. This is the start of my 2nd year as the principal at Tipton High School and I can’t tell you how proud I am to work with such an amazing staff and student body on a daily basis.

Our focus at Tipton High School will always be to build relationships with all of our students so we can maximize their high school experience.  We will be committed to creating an environment where students are excited to come to school and encouraged to do their best academically.

To start the 2020 - 2021 school year we have added 27 new classes to better meet the needs of our students.  We operate on an 8 period day.  This optimizes the ability for students to take as many high interest courses as they want during the time they are here as a high school student.

As we navigate through this ever changing year I look forward to working with all of our stakeholders.  If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to reach out.  My email is spence.evans@tipton.k12.ia.us

We take representing the Tipton community very seriously and will strive everyday to be a school the community can be proud of.
