Although there are activities that involve the Tigerette Dance Team throughout the school year, the primary season is during girls basketball season. The Tigerette Gold Squad begins their season with the Iowa State Dance Competition in Des Moines at Veteran’s Auditorium. Dance squads perform at many home basketball games during the winter.

The season ends with an annual Spring Dance Show, which showcases routines from the season. It is also a great night of family entertainment as the Tigerettes perform many novelty routines with their parents and the ever famous Co-Ed routine.
