THS Drama allows students the opportunity to perform on stage, build sets, sew costumes, design and implement sound and lighting elements, stage manage, and explore various other aspects of theatre.  Our season consists of a Fall Musical, student directed one-acts, a spring play and any number of other activities throughout the year.  

In addition, our school is a member of the International Thespian Society, a world-wide theatre organization that allows students the opportunity to experience theater outside of their own schools.  Tipton’s Thespian Troupe #601 attends the Iowa Thespian Festival and the International Thespian Festival each year.
