The National Honor Society promotes appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service.

All junior and senior students who carry a 3.5 GPA can become candidates for the NHS. Each eligible student will receive a Student Activity Sheet when the time for selection is near, which is after the end of the first semester each year.

The Student Activity Sheet provides interested students the opportunity to give details about their community service, leadership opportunities, and character.  Those details along with the students academic history will be used by the high school faculty to select those students qualifying for membership into NHS.

Upon faculty selection students and their families are notified and recognized at an induction ceremony.
