Tipton High School is pleased to offer jazz band opportunities for all of its band students.  There are two jazz bands that meet twice during the week.

The top jazz band consists of mostly upperclassmen and has the instrumentation of: five saxophones, four trombones, four trumpets, drums, piano, bass, and guitar.  The second jazz band is comprised of mostly underclassmen and students that are playing on secondary instruments.

The second jazz band is made up of the same instrumentation as the first jazz band.  The jazz bands give one concert every year in May with the jazz choirs.
