Tipton High School Art Department offers the opportunity for interested students to join THS Art Club.
Art club meets most Fridays in the art room during seminar. It is created for students who enjoy creating and being around art, and for those willing to volunteer their talent for community and school art projects.
In the past Art Club has helped with Murals around Tipton including the VFW building, logo design contests, backdrops for prom, artwork for Spring plays/ Fall musicals, and miscellaneous school art projects. Each year, senior members of the Art Club add to the row of senior murals above the lockers on the 2nd floor North wing. Often the art club will take a trip to see an art museum, or to participate in art workshops, or competitions. The club usually consists of around 25 students from either the Junior or Senior class and you need not be enrolled in an art class.
