Welcome to Tipton Community Schools! We are very proud of our school and community. Our schools are made up of over 900 students who excel in the classroom, fine arts and athletics.

A K-8 facility located at 725 West Seventh Street in Tipton includes a recently constructed middle school with a 1300 seat competition gym that adjoins the elementary building.  Most indoor athletic competition is held in the middle school gym.

While recently updated, our historic high school building located at 400 East Sixth Street in Tipton keeps its traditional feel and offers our students the latest in technology.  Currently a 4000 square foot weight room is being remodeled and outfitted with the latest fitness equipment.  This new facility will be available to Tipton athletes and students in January of 2012.

Tipton is located near Iowa City, Cedar Rapids and the Iowa Quad Cities. Recent downtown, park and pool renovations further enhance Tipton’s livability and quality of life.
